Michael Jordan wore his first pair of Air Jordans during an NBA game in 1985, when he had just joined the Chicago Bulls and the big hits we all know were still a long-held dream. The shoes were designed by Peter Moore and the rest is history. The pair in question, auctioned by Sotheby's, was custom made for "His Airness" in sizes 48 and 49.
